About Us

History

Collective Harmony was originally founded by Sharon Washington in Sugarland, Texas in September 2005. Ms. Washington saw a need in the community and was determined to fill that need.   In December of 2016, a Milwaukee native and original Board Member, Veronica McKelvin, who worked closely with Ms. Washington, was instrumental in bringing Collective Harmony to Milwaukee. The main focus and chief objective will be to continue Ms. Washington's mission of cultivating change by investing in underserved communities. This concentrated effort will be in the Southeastern areas of Wisconsin that have restricted access to resources.

Mission

Collective Harmony is a community-based organization which serves as a neighborhood assistance center to disadvantaged residents of southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is to assist individuals who have limited or restricted access to social service resources. Collective Harmony strives to improve the quality of life for the disadvantaged people of SE Wisconsin and bring about positive changes that improve the community.
